I'm using BQ24192 PMIC for one of our projects. I'm using a 3.7V Li-Ion (18650) battery and I need to set the charge current to 512mA which is the minimum value as per datasheet. So, I changed the default value, 0x60 of the Charge Current Control Register (REG02) to 0x00 (for 512mA) and my charge current is set to ~500mA as expected. But after 1-2 min, the current is going back to its default value 0x60 (2A) back.
I changed some other register values also for confirming this and observed that all the register values are set for 1-2 mins and then going back to its default value.
Why is this happening? Am I doing it correctly or is there anything that I'm missed?
Is there any additional step to be done to save/store the register values after changing it?
Please help to solve the issue.
