BQ25750EVM: BQ25750

Part Number: BQ25750EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25750, BQSTUDIO

BQ25750 DEMO板验证, 充电可以,但拔掉AC输入后,电池回路放电MOS无法打开,无法实现仅电池供电时工作.

BQ25750 的驱动BATDRV, BAT SRC工作不正常.

  • Hello Liucaijun,

Thanks for working with us. I've translated your message as

" BQ25750 demo board verification. The charging is OK, but when the AC input is unplugged, the battery loop discharge MOS does not turn on. Battery-only operation is not possible.

BQ25750 drive BATDRV, BAT SRC does not work properly."

Please let me know if that is a correct translation.

Can you take a screen shot of the BQStudio GUI when this happens? Is the SYS voltage below the battery voltage?

    Best Regards,
    Ethan Galloway

  • The SYS voltage is the battery voltage without AC input.

  • In the absence of an input source, the device can power the system
load from battery through BATFET or via reverse power flow, discharging the battery through the buck-boost
converter to generate a programmable, regulated voltage on system which is above or below the battery voltage.

8.3.2 Device Power-Up From Battery Without Input Source
If only battery is present and the voltage is above VSRN_OK threshold, the BATFET turns on and connects battery
    to system.

The BATFET can be forced to turn off via the FORCE_BATFET_OFF register bit

Where is The VSRN_OK voltage?  and  for Our design, there is not register control via BQStudio GUI.

  • 8.3.5 Power Path Management
The device accommodates a wide range of input sources from 4.2 V up to 70 V. The device provides dynamic
power management and automatic power path selection to supply the system (SYS) from input source (VAC), or
    battery (BAT).

  • Hello Liucaijun,

Just to clarify, are you using the EVM for this test?

What voltage are you measuring on the battery and system when the AC input is unplugged?

    Best Regards,
    Ethan Galloway

  • Using EVM for this test.

Only using battery supply, the Vsys of EVM demo is  about  0 V .

  • Hello Liucaijun,

Can you send me a screenshot or picture of the registers?

Can you also send me a picture of the EVM you are using?

    Best Regards,
    Ethan Galloway
