Hi,
We are currently programming the LP5520, however, we are struggling to reach a maximum current of 60mA per channel and therefore cannot reach a suitable RGB brightness to create bright white light..
In manual mode, the R/G/B current control registers didn't seem to change the light output at all.
So we tried changing the default values in the EEPROM for auto-mode, however, could only reach ~40mA per channel. When we tried changing the EEPROM to 60mA per channel, the driver got damaged and was unrecoverable.
To check the LED hardware set up, we tried manually pumping current (180mA (3 x 60mA)) into the common LED anode, and the LEDs were much brighter. So we think it's something to do with our programming of the LP5520 driver.
We are using an 8V boost voltage.
Any help on this would be great!
Thanks very much!
