 what is the benefit of Vbias pin of LDO? understand it can improve Efficiency but anybody can elaborate on how to improve efficiency?

    Vbias provides the gate drive for the regulator's n-channel FET.  As opposed to a regulator with a p-channel FET, the n-channel FET has lower Rdson for the same die area and current rating.  Therefore, a lower voltage can be applied to the regulator's power input (VIN) as compared to a similar current rated, p-channel FET regulator.  Since regulator efficiency is Vout/Vin, the regulator with Vbias will be typically be more efficient than a PFET regulator.
