I have a few additional questions for this design, can you help clarify:

• What is the behavior if Rtemp is not placed / blown open? From the datasheet its not clear what might happen.
  • Furthermore, what about Rfreq?
  • Any other components that if not placed could cause interesting failure modes that we should be aware of?

We can talk about these tomorrow but adding here as a reminder. I received a few additional questions on this design:

If we don’t want to use the OVP feature can we just tie the OVP pin to ground?

Also, we are not using analog or PWM dimming, only thermal foldback. Can we tie pin 5 and 6 (ADIM/HD and EN/PWM) directly to VCC or do they need a pull up resistor? See snip

1)We suggest to use OVP function in case there are some unexpected waveform to damage the device.

2)Yes, you can pull up PWM and ADIM to VCC with resister.

Quick follow up question from the customer: 

Can we tie PWM and ADIM to Vcc WITHOUT a resistor? (just a copper trace)
