BQ20Z65-R1_BQEVSW-SW: SAFE pin operation in SOV mode

We are using BQ20Z65-R1 gas gauge for one of our battery pack with 2S1P configuration. We have made Permanent Fail Cfg = 0000 & Permanent Fail Cfg 2= 0000. Below is setup for SOV in 2nd stage protection. Will safe pin drive high in this case??

LT SOV Threshold = 4400
ST SOV Threshold = 4600
HT SOV Threshold = 4500
SOV Time = 5
PF SOV Fuse Blow Delay = 0

    Hello Dhananjay,

    If you have disabled all the permanent failure then the SAFE pin will not drive high when one of them occurs, the protections needs to be enabled in the Permanent Fail Cfg and the event needs to occur in order to set the SAFE pin. The operation is defined in the TRM, this part is not recommended for new designs.
