TPS63900EVM: TPS63900

Part Number: TPS63900EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63900

I have been able to get TPS63900 provide reasonable output with my selection of the config resistors. The measured ICL is slightly off (shows 3 ma instead of the 2.5 ma from the datasheet) and

the output is 3.4xx rather than 3.400. That is not an issue for me.

I want to find out if I connect a higher voltage source (say 5V) to the Vout (designed to produce 3.4V) for a minute or so, does that cause any damage?

During the regular operation, that source will be disconnected. I have to do that in order to quickly charge a supercapacitor (EDLC) when the board is first powered.
