BQ2026: meet issue during read and write BQ2026

Hi, Dear PL Application engineer

one issue need supporting as below. customer use BQ2026 in their project and meet below issues.

1. Read ROM: read 8 bytes ROM and get 0xFF for all bytes.

2. Read Memory: read a specificed address and get 0xFF back.

3. Write Memory: does customer must use 11.5~12V power supply for SDQ pin if they want write memory? does customer must release program pulse if they want write memory?

4. in customer schematic, the host is: STM32F031F4P6 and pin 13 of host was connected with SDQ pin. Vcc is 3.3V, pull up resistor is 5k.

Hi Bill,

Yes 11.5V to 12V needs to be applied to the pull up resistor voltage. Could you clarify what you mean by customer must release program pulse if they want write memory? Once data is written to the 1-byte RAM buffer and the CRC is validated, the program pulse needs to be applied for at least 480us to ensure the byte is written to EPROM memory.
