Hi
The datasheet mentioned collector current = 500mA and showing below is my understanding of this definition.
Notice there is another parameter, output clamp current (Iok), could you advise how is the current flowing path?

Hi Kelvin,
The image you annotated correctly explains the collector current. Iok, output clamp current, refers to the maximum allowable current from each OUTPUT (each xC pin) through the respective clamp diode on the COM pin.
Thanks,
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
There are two clamping diodes at the output.
Output clamp current is not applicable for the diode from C to E?

Kelvin
Hi Kelvin,
Correct, Iok only applies for the diode from C to COM, and not C to E. Do you need the maximum current through the diode from E to C?
Thanks,
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Yes, it will be good if you could also provide the current through the diode from E to C.

Hi Kelvin,
I am discussing with the team to see if anyone has this data. Since this is an old part, its data is not easily accessible.
Thanks,
Patrick
Hi Kelvin,
Let's continue this thread via email - please see the one I sent.
