TPS61378-Q1: simulation(SIMPLIS/ PSpice for TI / TINA) Comparison

Part Number: TPS61378-Q1

I used the same circuit and read the SW waveform.
I found the result trend of SIMPLIS software is different from "PSpice for TI" and "TINA".
There should be a slow-start switching frequency between 0ms and 1ms.
The experiments on the EVM board have similar results to PSpice for TI and TINA.
Are there any differences in SIMPLIS IC model?

PS.  SIMPLIS model need to import (.lib) format.

  • Hi YuFang,

Sorry I'm not able to read what is inside of Simplis model.

Usually, the Pspice model corresponds to real waveforms as we will do correlation before it releases.

And the TINA model is transformed from Pspice model so they are usually the same.

For the simplis model, I think it is simplified so the waveform is different from reality, but it can be used to do the loop simulation.
