TPS92682-Q1: Maximum duty cycle

Hello,
According to the EN Reg, maximum duty cycle is enable as default, and it is about 90%(figure 6-9 in the datasheet).
My question is what will happen if maximum duty cycle is disable? Does the duty could reach 100%?
TPS92682 is configured as Bi-phase BOOST CV mode In my application.

    Jason,

    Yes, the duty cycle will reach 100%.  We do not recommend using it for BOOST application since you need time to discharge the inductor to the output cap to transfer energy.  That's the reason we have the 90% max duty cycle designed in.
