UC2842: Any methods to cool down the device temperature?

Hi team,

Our customer is now using UC2482 to their fly back power supply and frequency is 60kHz. 

But they found that the temperature of UC2482 raise about 50°C in room temperature, and the MOS fly back power supply also rasie too much.

Is there any way to make the rasing of temperature smaller?

    Hi,

    Please check the VCC voltage and make that voltage closer to 12V say 15V.

    Also check your MOSFET gate charge to see if it demands a high driving power, and if so, you need to add external driver, such as a totem pole, or change the MOSFET with smaller gate charge.
