TPS25924: Output capacitor

Hi All,

I have a question regarding TPS259241.
Is it okay to use an electrolytic capacitor for VOUT?
Also, are there any regulations regarding the installation location of the output capacitor? Is the neighborhood good?

    Ishiwata-San,

    As such we don't have any layout guideline for output capacitor. Electrolytic cap in the neighborhood should be good. I will double check this and will get back to you by today EOD.

    Ishiwata-San,

    I double checked it with my senior colleague and using electrolytic cap in neighborhood of device is fine. As such we don't have any regulation regarding output capacitor location. We do have some layout guideline in the datasheet (section 11 for this device datasheet).
