Hello!
We're planning to use the BQ24070 to charge a single 18650 Li-ion battery...As you know these batteries look like an overgrown AA cell...the battery in the product can be replaced by the end-user.
We are going to use a 5V DC output AC adapter as the power source...the Mode pin will be tied to VIN.
I was considering the scenario if the end-user puts in the battery, but with the polarity reversed.
How will the chip react to that if that happens? Is there protection against this from causing damage?
