TPS25200: 5V input-output solution

Part Number: TPS25200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXU0101

Hi!

In my device I plan to use 5V pin as input and output depend on situation.

Device is lipo battery operated

- Input current limit 300mA. Should always provide 5V to the system if present. Charging, not really care about power consumption.

- Output current limit 50mA. Should provide 5V to the output if enabled by MCU. Working mode of the device, should consume as less power as possible.

My solution is to use 2 TPS25200 "rotated 180 degrees"

Here You can also see TXU0101, because VDDIO (and so MCU control signal) is 1.8V, and minimum guaranteed EN voltage is 1.9V

I am not sure if it is a good solution, I hope You can confirm/fix it or propose more elegant(cheap/less space) way using some other IC of TI portfolio.

Since it is battery operated, I am looking for less current consumption, when device gives 5v output (50mA) or sleeps (output not enabled). 5v0 net is input(output) from connector, V_Sys - 5 volts in system.
