We purchased components from Mouser. The marking on the top of the part does not have the TI logo---The state of Texas. This seems like it is not the part it says it is:

Hey Russel,

Thank you for your question! In 2011 Texas Instruments acquired National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments completes acquisition of National Semiconductor. This device was originally designed by National, hence why the logo is the National Semiconductor logo. This isn't any cause for concern here. Another good way to verify is checking the topside markings in our " Part Marking lookup" tool. This device matches the expected topside markings as well.
