Hi
I have a query need your help.
Does this chip have reverse voltage protection?
Does the red mark is reverse protection.
Thanks

Hello Star,
No this device is not protected from reverse input protection if the input is plugged in backwards.
However, the body diode in the red box will block voltage from the output to the input if the input is not attached.

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply.
the body diode in the red box will block voltage from the output to the input if the input is not attached.
As long as the connection is not correct, whether IN is short-circuited to GND or IN and GND are connected reversely, there will be no conduction between IN and OUT.
Is my understanding correct?
Thanks
Star
Hello Star,
That is not correct. If the input is applied in reverse, the device is not protected.
There will be reverse current and possible damage if the IN is shorted to GND.
