Hi there,
We have a power supply design that uses the TPS2640 to limit the short-circuit current to a specific value and its design is based on the EVM. (Please, ignore the written data related to the UVLO/OVP in the schematic.)
Although it does not seem from the schematic, there is an Power Bad LED connected between VIN and FLT output without the pull-up resistor.
When the short-circuit situation occurs, the LED is lit as normally. However, without any short-circuit, over/under voltage, over temperature event, even only for 50mA load current, the LED again is active.
I did some design changes such as adding to FLT pin a pull-up resistor or adding another BJT-based switching circuit but they did not help me.
Are there anybody, have any idea about this weird situation?
Thanks for all of your effort already!
