Hello TI team,
What is the maximum output current in SEPIC mode with 14V output and 6 to 18V input
I didn't perform any calculations, but I found in WEBENCH that it is limited to 2A?
thanks
Best Regards
Rachid

Hello Rachid,
Please have a look at our quick start calculator: SNVR512 Calculation tool | TI.com
This helps to do the math for this and similar questions.
In general, if the input is 6V and the peak current limit is 6.5A, the energy out of the input is roughly limited to 35W (the current is triangular, so the average limit is lower than the peak limit). 35W / 14V = 2.5A, so as there are losses in the system roughly 2A might be the real limit.
So Webench is giving roughly the right value, but as this is dependent on the external components you might be able to achieve some more or less current dependent on the inductor value you are using for example.
Best regards,
Brigitte
