The list is so expansive I was hoping to get some assistance in trimming it down. 

What does Functional Safety-Capable mean?

Which parts/Type offer the lowest quiescent current in light load conditions?

Which offer the quietest switching noise for conducted and radiated emissions

what is the difference between these 2 parts show above. LMR33620 and LMR33620-q1  2 different data sheets but seem to be the same part?

I like the high efficacy at light loads and the low emi and switching noise.  Is this indicative to the "hot rod" parts?

How would you rank the LM53625-Q1 to the LMR33620-q1 for a prefered part in terms of performance, emi considerations and newer part?

The difference between the two is that the -Q1 part is automotive rated. 

Usually, for hot-rod, application-wise, the package improves thermal and EMI performance 

Really for the two parts, the main difference comes down to the output voltage and load conditions. Can you provide your application conditions?

I did not noticed any differences in ratings.  SO is the LM336620-Q1 likely to have best longevity in the automotive industry verses the non q part in the same series? 

The output voltage will be 3.3 volts @300 mA max.  Input voltage will be 9 -27 volts.  It is a battery application.  Samples every 15 minutes typically.  In sleep mode should be in the microamps so that is why i need a low quiescent current and good efficiencies down there since that is where it will live.  It wakes pulls 300 ma then goes back to sleep.  Down the road if I change the front end module, the current may be up around an1 amp so i want excess capacity for future if needed. This voltage feeds a VCO Voltage controlled oscillator that is sensitive to switching noise.  Typically needs LDO after the switcher if not quite enough but I lack board space.  I was looking at the ADI LT8608S silent switcher series.  They tout that the part is quite enough to eliminate the LDO but the part has availability issues at the moment.
