Hi expert,
My customer is using LM3488 as a sepic to power control board of traction inverter.
Here is their block.
Here is their schematic.
When they put the module in 85°C temperature and tested for 20 hours, the 5V output dropped to 4.2V causing the driver IC report UVLO and shut down the IGBT.
Here is the waveform:
CH1 is HVDC;
CH2\3 are IGBT switch.
CH4 is the output voltage of LM3488, which drop to 4.2V;
CH5 is the input voltage of LM3488;
CH6 is the FLT pin of gate driver IC;
CH7 is the input power supply of gate driver IC, same as CH4;
CH8 is the other LM3488's 5V output on the same board;
What can cause this drop?
After they change compensation parameters to this, their test have been fine for 2-3 days till now. Do they have some relations?
