Hi team,

Customers are curious about the ABS specs of output pin of UCC27524 and UCC27624.

  1.  Where is the 0.3V marked as yellow in UCC27524 datasheet come from? body diode of MOSFET in output stage or ESD protection at output pin?

        

       2. Why can UCC27624 extend this voltage to 3V?

    Hi Kian,

    The 0.3V comes from internal body diode of the output stage. The VDD + 3V maximum rated OUT voltage for the UCC27624 was tested on the bench during development, while the UCC27524 did not have a test plan for it, so the default 0.3V was used.
