Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76952,
Currently I am designing a system that uses the BQ76952 as the AFE for a battery system. Some design requirements have necessitated using the BQ34Z100 to estimate SOC/SOH and it is unclear from the documentation how the current sense pins should be shared.
At the moment the current sense comes off from the resistor to the AFE in this way:
Where SR_P and SR_N go directly to the AFE pins.
This is the current filter structure, and it is recommended to have filtering for the BQ34Z100.
My question is: is this filtering sufficient for both devices or should I duplicate this filtering on the BQ34Z100 pins as well? It is as close to an unbroken pair as possible, with the only stub being the small one to go to the pins of the device.
