LP5018: PWM Pulse-Shifting and current consumption enquiry

Part Number: LP5018

Hi Team,

May I check with you:

1.PWM Pulse-Shifting => PWM Dithering_EN?

2. Any difference in current consumption when operating at 3.3V or 5V when we have only one LED per channel? Excluding the current sink for the LED, is there additional power loss via IC?

Best Regards,

Ernest

  • Hi Ernest,

    Please refer the comments below:

    1. For LP5018, the PWM phase shift function is always on. So it's not controlled by PWM Dithering_EN.

    2. For the IC consumption between 3.3V or 5V, although there is a difference, the difference is very small. Please refer the below table for the output current difference.
