LM5001-Q1: LM5001-Q1

Part Number: LM5001-Q1

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have selected LM5001-Q1 as Sepic Convereter . While reading the datasheet i came across max Voltage across COMP pin . It stated as 7v .

In functional diagram i saw the circuit ,it's basically the Comparator circuit . How its max voltage is 7V .

Thanks & Regards

  • Hi Akanksha,

Thank you for using E2E forums, regarding your query the functional diagram that you see in the datasheet does not encompass all the internal circuitry of the device. Also, there is a FET connected to the COMP pin internally in the device, it is quite possible that any voltage above 7V would damage the internal circuitry and hence should be avoided.

    Hope this helps.
