TPS61165: About EMI Countermeasures

Hi team,

I am considering inserting a common mode choke coil because I am concerned about radiated noise.
Is there any problem if I insert this into the output?
The coil is NRS6028T150.

Hi Ryu,

Usually we add ferrite bead at the output side and common inductor at the input side for EMI reduce. Adding inductance at output side may affect the Vout.

Hi Ryu,

It will also decrease the common signal if at the output side, but placed near the power source will have better effect.

So there is some effect.
I thought you said "Adding inductance at the output side may affect the Vout." which I thought meant a negative effect.
Please tell me about the effect you are talking about here.
