Hi team,

could you help to see below request? do we have recommendation for a low cost LDO?

Project: Smart door lock
Selection requirements: 1. Power supply voltage: the minimum input voltage is not greater than 3.6V, and the maximum input voltage is not less than 6.4V;
2. Static power consumption is not greater than 50uA;
3. Low voltage difference; convert to 3.3V
4. The maximum output current is >=0.8A; the maximum output current is 0.4A.

    Let me see if I understand the requirements, we need a single output LDO that meets these specs:

    • Vin: 3.6V to 6.4V range
    • Vout: 3.3V
    • IQ: 50uA
    • Iout: 400mA to 800mA range

    Either TLV759P or TPS746 might be able to fit here, the only thing is the Vin range might go above the recommended conditions. Another thing is that in the scenario where Vin=6.4V and Iout=800mA the temp increase will be close to 99ºC. In other scenarios the power dissipation should be much lower.
