TPS61379-Q1: Inductance value

Hello,

My customer would like to use 10uH inductance in thier design and are seeing TPS61379-Q1 as one of candidates.
Table 9-2 in the datasheet shows 0.45 ~ 1uH for recommended inductors.
Can 10uH be used for this device?

What's the switching frequency and the mode that customer uses?

They don't still have any idea for both switching frequency and the mode.
They just want to reuse 10uH that is already on their AVL.

Hi Oba,

Here are the two general rules to judge whether 10μH can be used for TPS61379:

If it works in PFM mode, the inductor ripple should be bigger than 800mA;
If it works in PWM mode, 10μH should work, but it's better to check that the right-half-plane zero is still at least 5 times bigger then the crossover frequency. The TPS61378 calculation can be used for TPS61379.

Once customer provides more detailed work conditions, I can also take the more careful check.
