LM5176-Q1: LM5176-Q1 full load start up at lower VIN

Hello,

I have designed this for 9V -36V, 11 A load current. My design does not work at the minimum input voltage 9V-10V at full load.

It only works at higher voltage input from 20V -36V.

I tried adjusting RT, Vslope, no success.

what should I check to fix this?

    Hi Parvin,

    if the design does not power up at full load but is OK with full load once powered up the typical issue is the softstart time.

    You need to increase this time and make the startup slower so that you can avoid that the inrush current triggers the over current protection.
