BQ29209: Is BQ29209 correct for my 2 cells balancing?

Part Number: BQ29209
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25300, BQ25306,

Hi everyone.
I need some advice because I'm not very skilled about battery management

I have two single cells (each with PCM).
I have two possible technologies: either LiPo cells or either LiPO4 cells.

I have to put the cells in series and charge them with a fast charger.

Cell capacity 5000mAh, charge current 2A

I developed a prototype for the single cell with the BQ25300 and everything works good.

Now, for example, I see the BQ25306 suitable for two cells in series.

Is BQ29209 good for cells balance in my project?

For LiFePO4 cells the termination voltage is lower than LiPo, I think is not a problem, right?

Do you see any issue? I can replace this IC with another one if needed

Thank you
Stefano
