TPS546A24AEVM-1PH: Support For EVM Programming and Configuration Via Aardvark Tool

Part Number: TPS546A24AEVM-1PH
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM846C23DEVM-807

Hi Team,

I have ordered EVM TPS546A24AEVM-1PH and TPSM846C23DEVM-807  for my initial bring up testing and programming study.
My intension is to Program the EVM TPS546A24AEVM-1PH using aardvark (Part number :TP240141) tool.
I have installed control center Serial Windows Software in my PC for aardvark adapter support. But i don't have any idea to generate the configuration file for TPS546A24AEVM-1PH.
My understanding is like once we generate the PMbus configuration file (.XML )format , we can able to load the Config files into TPS546A24AEVM-1PH EVM using aardvark tool + control center Serial software.I'm right ?
Could anybody to support for this programming and bring up ? I would like to know is there anyway to generate device configuration file using Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI ?

Regards,
Sujith M

  • Hi Sujith

    By using Fusion Power Gui

    a. you can generate config file for single device if you are only have 1 device

    b. and you can also generate a system file for multiple devices on the board, from the system file you can access of xml configs for each device

    c. config files can also be generated in offline mode

generating new config files in offline mode:

    1. enter offline mode

    2.

    3. select required device

4 after device is shown in the dialogue box enter finish

    5. you can now access and config the device

it will take you to the below page

Now if you want to save the existing setting of device on the board

    1. power up the device

    2. connect the fusion gui

    3. once you see the below screen go to File> save project will let you save the xml config

or File>Export will give you different options for saving the config file

    Thank you
