I am looking to leverage the much-increased power capabilities of USB PD-EPR in a battery charging application with the BQ25756 battery charge controller.
On page 71 of the datasheet dated August 2023, a reference is made to a TPS2675 USB-PD EPR Controller, but I cannot find further information about the aforementioned device other than in this datasheet, nor can I find any other USB-PD controller in the suite of Ti PD controllers which supports PD-EPR. Although the relatively new TPS25751 (which is also compatible with the BQ25756) is stated to support PD 3.1, it does not appear to support EPR.
I would like to clarify if this product exists or if it is slated to launch at a later time, and if there are any USB-PD controllers which support EPR and are currently available.
