Can you clarify what you mean by "failure rate" and "failure mode"? Do you mean how device responses to faults?

Hello Ann,

No, failure rate or FIT(Failure in Time) represents probability of the device to fail in specific amount of time. It is represented in failure per 10^9 hour unit. Wikipedia article for more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Failure_rate

Failure mode are basically ways in which device can fail and failure mode distribution provides the % of FIT attached to each failure mode.

TI usually provides reports like this for the automotive qualified products. That is what I am looking for.
