Dear TI Team,

I'm currently reading the Design Guide: TIDA-010232 AFE for Insulation Monitoring in High-Voltage EV Charging and Solar Energy Reference Design. In this file, insulation monitoring is told for 800V system. Is this system avaible for 1500V system high voltage battery system. If it is not, could you suggest a new system about insulation monitoring for 1500V high voltage energy storage system .

    Hello korcan,

    Thanks for reaching out to our team on E2E. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any existing insulation monitoring reference design that supports 1500V at this time. We have received requests for 1500V in the past, a solution we have been recommending is adding a large resistor in parallel to our device (2Mohm in the image below). This would constantly leak 0.5 mA at 1500V. This may be an option depending on your application requirements.
