Hi team,

I have a customer with the below issue using the BQ28Z610 and the software he's been advised to use. Let me know your thoughts and thanks in advance!

"We need help figuring out how to perform the automated calibration of the BQ28Z610. Our previous FAE suggested using the BQMTESTER along with BQPRODUCTION. On the BQPRODUCTION page, the firmware for the device we are using is listed (BQ28Z610-DEVICE-FW), and we are even using the same version (bq28z610R1FirmwareBundle-1.02). However, the software is not able to recognize the device. Can you reach out to the battery division and provide some guidance on this? We are starting production and are still unable to calibrate the batteries.

    Hello Marco, 

    These tools are no longer maintained by TI, and haven't been for several years now. An option here would be to use bqStudio to calibrate about 20 or so gauges, then you can take the average of all of these values to program to the gauge during production.
