Hello,

I am planning to use BQ24125 Ic in my next project.

I just need some data.

My requirement : 3-cell Li-ion

Battery voltage range : 6V to 9V ,9Ah

Standard charging Current : 2 A

My question is that with above data can we used this IC ?

and i want constant Current while charging (From 6v to 9V) is it possible with this IC?

I don't see any obvious reasons why this would not work for your design.

Reason for asking this question i am looking for IC which will give constant current when my Charging voltage 9V and battery charging voltage 6v to 8.3V . to make fast charger for my application.

Hello Shekhar,

The precharge to fast charge transistion voltage is 68-75% of Vreg. If you set Vreg to 9V the transition voltage will be between 6.12V-6.75V.

However, the precharge current can be set using the ISET pins to adjust for this transition.
