Hi,

Customer asked about ERROR / SHUDOWN pin.

Err pin is Low Active and should I control Shutdown with this signal or is it working separately?

    Hello,

    These pins serve separate functions, and SHUTDOWN should not be directly controlled by ERROR as in the second schematic because the device would not start up. These functions do not necessarily need to be related; it is up to the customer to use the ERROR signal to take action by the MCU. Shutting down/resetting the LDO is not necessary from the perspective of the LDO.
