Hi All
In the drive circuit below it would appear that pin-2 of UCC27531 would be at 31V (13V + 18V) with respect to its GND pin-4 when the transistor within the optocoupler is off thus exceeding the absolute maximum rating of 27V.
Please advise if my reasoning is correct. If it is then datasheet needs to be correctly updated.
