TPS552892: Plans for support in Webench

Hey Buck-Boost Regulator team,

I have a customer evaluating the TPS552892 for a new project and we were hoping you could help comment on when TPS552892 and TPS552872 will be supported on TI WEBENCH® POWER DESIGNER.

Also, I can see that they are P2P with the same functionality. Can a customer use the higher current part to predict and test the performance of the lower current version? Are there any key spec differences between these two devices other than the supported current that we should keep in mind?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out.

1. Currently we have not released the Webench for TPS552892/72, and the plan is not decided. Could the customer use the TPS55289 Webench instead? And send the schematic and layout to us for review when finished.

2. TPS552892 and TPS552872 is P2P and only the average inductor current limit is different.
