TIDM-02013: How this works in bidirectional?

Hi,

As shown in image, it is only shown how AC to DC is converted.

But it is not shown how DC to AC current flows happen?

-Also is there any other topology for bi-directional for PFC for 1 to 1.5kW?

    Hello Alihussian,

    This is a standard totemploe PFC topology and the circuit operation can be found in any good journal papers. If you are looking for bidirectional firmware, TIDM-02013 doesn't have the bidirectional implementation yet. Please refer below designs for bi-directional operation.

    1. TIDM-2008/1007 - 3.3-kW, Single-Phase, Bidirectional Bridgeless CCM Totem Pole PFC Stage

    2. TIDA-01606 - 10-kW, bidirectional three-phase three-level (T-type) inverter and PFC reference design

    There could be many other bi-directional PFC topologies apart from these two.
