LM36010: Question regarding UVLO fault

Part Number: LM36010

Hi Team,

I would like to double check for the following questions:

1. Flags register (0x05) UVLO Fault was triggered, is it possible to clear this register bit by cut off LM36010 input power[No input power]?

2.What is the triggering logic of UVLO Fault? How long can it trigger UVLO Fault when Vin is less than 2.5V? A power down also makes VIN less than 2.5V, so why does UVLO not trigger?

3.Can we turn off flash mode by pulling down STROBE pin? If not, what is the reason for it.

Thanks

Frank

  • Hi Frank,

    Please refer the comments below:

    1. Flags register (0x05) UVLO Fault was triggered, is it possible to clear this register bit by cut off LM36010 input power[No input power]?

[Jared]: If you cut off the input power of LM36010, the device will not work and you can't see the UVLO fault.

2.What is the triggering logic of UVLO Fault? How long can it trigger UVLO Fault when Vin is less than 2.5V? A power down also makes VIN less than 2.5V, so why does UVLO not trigger?

[Jared]: Please refer the chapter 7.4.4.7 to understand UVLO. Please tell me how device can work when the VIN is less than 2.5V.

3.Can we turn off flash mode by pulling down STROBE pin? If not, what is the reason for it.

[Jared]: I suggest you can read datasheet in detail first.
