TPS25982: The peripheral component selection and design rule

Part Number: TPS25982

Dear TI Team:

We have Efuse-TPS25982 in our design, we checked from the datasheet which highlights "Use a Schottky diode across the output to absorb negative spikes.".

Could you share How can I check this schottky diode that I select is OK or not? The SCH is attached, we use it for OSFP port.

1.  How to calculate the current and negative voltage that applied on this schottky diode?

2. After calculate current, should it correspond to IF or IFRM or IFSM of Diode?

3. what is the function difference of pin LDSTRT and EN, and could you explain the pin EN and LDSTRT collaborative work mechanism?

Best Regards

Lisa
