SM72445: MPPT for aerospace application

Part Number: SM72445

Dear Team,

I am designing an MPPT converter for the specification of,

Pannel input voltage: 5V to 16.8V

MPPT output voltage: 16.8V@0.96A

I have found a solution from TI with SM72445 but, my end application is aerospace Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

can you Please suggest the equivalent part number for space application?

Hi Feng Ji,

In the datasheet of SM72445, it is mentioned about the Military/aerospace specified part in page number 04. I am attaching the screenshot of the same, please give the clarity.

Hello Karthik,

We do not have a military or space version of this device. I am sorry, but this sentence in the datasheet is misleading and we will need to remove it in the next datasheet version.
