Can you please tell me what do you mean about ID register since LP50xx family have different chip address to identify the different part?

Hi Jared,

Like the following charger part, read back the register REG0B, and the register result will be a single value and indicate the part is BQ25601.

For LP5036, means a read only register to indicate the part is LP5036.

Does LP5036 get a register like this?
