LMR50410-Q1: Efficiency Graph

Hi team,

Datasheet shows the efficiency versus load current like below, for both PFM and FPWM. For the load larger than 0.1A, it looks only the data for FPWM is shown. But I believe the efficiency for PFM and FPWM is the same for relatively large load, and the graph is overlap. Is my understanding correct?

Hi Kurumi,

Thank you for your question. Yes your understanding is correct. Both the PFM and FPWM modes will have similar efficiencies for larger loads as a device in "PFM" operation operates the same as a device in "FPWM." For more information you can check section 8.4.4 in the datasheet.
