Unfortunately, the MCDP2900 is obsolete device, so I can not use it for a new design.

It is really unbelievable there are no such devices on the us market for Display port to HDMI conversion.

Do you have any other idea please?

I am not having much luck finding the DisplayPort to HDMI protocol converter either. So far I only found three companies that sell this converter, Parade, ITE, Megachip/Kinetic Technologies.

In this case if "DP to HDMI" chip is not easy to get, what do you think about following solution:

I would design the HUB with TUSB8044 (I got the Evaluation board already) and will also put on the same board the "USB-C to Display Port" chip. Then we will use external "Display Port to HDMI cable" for our LCD (what do you think about it?).

Could you please recommend the "USB-C to DisplayPort" solution with available Evaluation board/reference design?

For Type-C to DisplayPort solution, you can use TUSB1064RNQ EVM, https://www.ti.com/tool/TUSB1064RNQEVM.
