The question is related to lifebuy status of the LM5030MM/NOPB. What are the differences in devices LM5030MM/NOPB and LM5030MMX/NOPB? From the datasheet I can find only the packing difference (1000 pcs vs. 3500 pcs). Even the package marking is the same. However the product discontinuance notification PDN# 20231017000.3 states: "These changes are part of our multiyear plan to transition certain products to newer, more efficient manufacturing processes and technologies."
The datasheet is same but is the actual die different in these two devices? The information is needed to assess the need for end product retesting and certification when this component change is implemented.
