Customer is comparing LM74720 with Infineon AUIR3242S and asking me how to design Back to Back Configuration like AUIR3242S. Please check it and let me know.

Hi Jeffrey,

LM74720-Q1 is designed to work in common drain configuration whereas the competitor part works for common source configuration.

Is reverse current blocking a requirement? If not you can consider LM74502-Q1 which will have the configuration you are looking for.

If RCB is required, you can consider LM74800-Q1.

In boost circuits we do not have a part to achieve common source.
