    Hi I am sorry for the confusion.

    The datasheet is not an error. Those pins can be chosen to be NC or shorted to ground.

    By shorting pin 4 and 5 to ground, you essentially would be shorting out the lower integrated bypass cap as there are two in series from Vin to GND (pin3 to 6)
