LMG3616: About Coss vs voltage curve

Part Number: LMG3616
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG3622, , UCC28782

Hello,

I am considering LMG3622 for the main switch and LMG3616 for the active clamp in the UCC28782 circuit.
The content of the calculation tool shown below in UCC28782 requires Coss information.
However, the data sheets for LMG3622 and LMG3616 do not have this information.
Could you please provide information on Coss vs voltage curve for each device?

Best regards,

  • Hi Kajii-san,

    I have reached out to our systems engineer for this product to get the Coss vs. Vds curve for these devices. I will respond here this week with their response.

    Best,

    Kyle Wolf

  • HI Kaji-san,

    We are re-characterizing our LMG36xx devices right now which is why the datasheet is currently missing the Coss vs. Vds curves. However, based on previous data that we have collected, I can provide the Coss_QH_bg, Coss _QH_sm, and Vxl that is shown in your table above.

    For LMG3616:

    Coss_QH_bg =  85pF

    Vxl = 75V

    Coss_QH_sm = 23pF

    For LMG3622:

    Coss_QH_bg =  190pF

    Vxl = 95V

    Coss_QH_sm = 40pF

    Best Regards,
    John
